Ahmin-had Merchants Syndicate

The Ahmin-had merchants syndicate is prohibitively large and diverse; its power is so large that it even rivals the Nealan companies in its control of inter-world trade.

Based on the second largest Hume world Arba, it grew around the massive gold and spice troves native to its world. The constant quarreling of the many Arban nations provided a lush feeding ground for the Ahmin-had syndicate which played and finessed those nations to such a degree that it rose as the prominent power in Arba. The Syndicate for fear of plateauing opened small but numerous tunnels all throughout the Arban world barrier, making Arba the second most inter-connected world after Xaxes, the Nealan capital. Though the tunnels were narrow in diameter their unparalleled sturdiness allowed unceasing trade to follow through Arba. The Syndicate had developed Arba into a universal Humien hub.

The Syndicate in grand celebration of their numerous successes built a city in the Yakie desert. A grand city of towering spires and brilliant white domes Ahmin-had city, the richest of all the Hume cities. The city is situated above the subterranean Yakie river and rests at the crux of various world tunnels, allowing the Syndicate to be as close as possible to their wealth spigots.

The Syndicate is a ruthless, practical, and indispensable to the flow of trade. Though no one is better off for trading with them, no trader could survive without them.
