The Spiritual ranking system designed by the mortals who would study the ethereal:
Rank 0: All creation
Rank 1: Deus ultimus a perfect being beyond comprehension or explanation
Rank 2: Deus magnus Super gods they are the most powerful being in the
universe and possess many internal engines beyond mortal comprehension
Rank 3: Deus. Plain old god similar to greek pantheon they possess
distinct personalities and quirks
Rank 4: Demi. Minor gods
Rank 5: Superia Powerful spirits that serve a god or their own
collective. Similar to angels
Rank 6. Phoalnus: A field of singular emotional or ideological
content. Like a bubble of angry.
Rank 7: Domym. Spirits possessing human quantities of thought,
emotion, and power.
Rank 8: Onimae. Spirits possessing animal like quantities of thought
and emotion.
Rank 9: Wisps A single or cluster of stray thought or emotion.
Detached and floating in the spirit realm.
Prime deities:
Primus, Ra: A loving, stern, jealous, judicious patriarchal god.
Embodies principals of leadership, morality, and strength. Although
associated with typically masculine energy supersedes any conventional
gender description. Has three principle servants Mackus, Martaen, and
Frein builder, leader, and destroyer respectively. Is the patron deity
of leaders. Rank 2.5
Aemoa, Marama: Universal mother. Everything about her is akin to an
amniotic experience. She's overpoweringly warm, gentle, and nurturing.
Is credited with altering the physics of the universe to allow for
barriers to form around the worlds protecting the physical realm from
the rampant forces of chaos. Her servants are the Leyah
spirits that care for and protect the soul of each world. Rank 2
Samael, Freincetti, Asp: Deity of seperation, loss, void, departure,
death. Omni present and enforces the laws of physical and spiritual
division and separation, which includes death. Has no servants. Rank 2
Akasheik: All knowing unintelligible, boundless, amoeba like, deity.
Maintains record of the universe. It is said that, to know is to in
some way understand Akasheik. Has two types of servants Kuriers who
are conduits for divine knowledge to the physical plane and the
Sittenrichter who stamp out and try to prevent pure genesis and truly
new elements of the universe instead of the approved form of creation
which is simply recombination of existing elements and therefore part of Akasheik's map of creation. True creation inevitably occurs however because of the random nature of the universe. Rank 2
Xaos: Deity of chaos that permeates the universe. Maintainer of the
Aether that pervades the space between worlds. First child of the
Aether himself, he is sometimes comprehensible but often completely
alien to all forms of communication and thought. A deity in constant
internal cycles of change he by law of the universe may never be
understood. Zoal is the product of his Aether mixing with the
substance the barriers are formed from. Which then leaks into the physical worlds.
No servants. Rank 1.5
Arara: God of discord, strain, conflict, and oppositional forces.
Incites, and exists as an extension of conflict itself. More like a
field of oppositional energies constantly pulling and pushing each
other. Kind of like the principle of yin and yang but strictly
antagonistic.Is served by Ru which in all manner and form finds a means
to push and Samyat that constantly find ways to fight and pull.
Finally the weakest the Varaka are hyper powerful warriors that cause
disaster with their endless wrestling. Rank 2
Oam-aksas: Prudish uptight god of order and patterns. Is extremely
powerful and devotes all his power to maintaining the physical laws of the worlds which
leaves little room for his passion of ordering all elements in the
universe. Seven servants each a judge for ordered design. They also act as
avengers against the adherents to chaos. Rank 2, but can only use the
power of a Rank 4
Ae: Deity of objective beauty. To perceive this deity in any form is
to go completely mad. Has many servants who go about trying to at all
costs promote their ideals of perfect beauty which all differ wildly as none
of them have actually communicated with Ae. Rank 2
Bahussa: Multi-gender god of fertility. Lesser god of creation
adherent to Aemoa. Served by the Boes and Hussas who are male and
female sex gods. For rating reasons they will not really be explored
too much. Rank 3
Himsa: God of violence and killing. Acts as conduit to Samael. Served
by countless war and murder spirits. Rank 3
Croat: Supposed god of wisdom. Only the insane are said to be able to
truly understand him. Rank 3
Korno: God of nature, life, and bounty. Served by his many children. Rank 3
Pharna: Daughter of Korno goddess of plants, fungi, and bacteria. Is
caring and nurturing but also has a deadly darker side. Served by the
Oatala who care and maintain life, the Raelia who are wild and grow
life, and the Mordo who decompose and rot life. Rank 3
Huspero: God of animals and sentient life. Created factors for first
animals and eventually humes and other life forms. Rank 3
Anwo: God of change. He actively changes the world in a structured
forceful way. Adherent to Xoas but not really inline with pure chaos.
Many servants. Rank 3
Vurny: God of invention, ingenuity, and the spark. Created the first
light and impetus for primordial physical reactions. Is hunted by Sittenrichter
and Judges. Rank 3
Xesseron: Darkness, mystery, pain, sin. Energizes other gods, spirits,
and physical life forms for his own manipulative purposes. While
nothing is truly evil he feeds off negative emotions and suffering and
tries to fuel that where ever he can. Rank 3
Gatsu: A once mortal he became a god through some mysterious method.
Led ancient primordial species in a kingdom of eternal enlightenment
until he eventually faded into the spirit realm. The primordials are
his servants. Rank 4
Aap and Oop: Trickster and entertainer he is highly resourceful and
manipulative. Far reaching and tentacle like he possess immense power
but only seeks to create situations for his own amusement. His
servants are his various odd ball creations. Rank 4
The Aether constantly gives rise to new spirits who can even possess godlike powers so there are many others but they are not powerful or notable enough to be featured as members of the 19 prime deities.
Natural Gods: Animals that have uploaded their brains to the spirit
realm and used the energy present in zoal to grow to enormous sizes. They include whales the size of blimps, snakes the size of a locomotive, and wyrmms dragon like creatures that can even rival mountains.
